Residential weekend in Kildare for young people who have experienced bereavement & loss
The next Youthlife Residential Weekend which will take place at Kerdiffstown House on Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th February 2013.
Youthlife supports young people who have experienced bereavement and loss. Research tells us that experiencing bereavement at a young age, becoming part of a different family unit, adjusting to social and economic changes cause children and young people pain and anxiety and can often impact negatively on their education and self esteem. The trauma is difficult for young people to deal with because their limited experience does not yet contain the tools to cope with such a situation.
